These guys were so FN ahead of what came after it's incredible. And 'Krautrock" is a dumb, meaningless term. Percussive, brilliant, fractured. Tago Mago, Future Days, and Ege Bamyasi would be required listening in my "Second Half 20th Century Music" course, if I had one.
