WebOct 2, 2024 · We had problems holding fuel pressure. Replaced the in tank with a Fitech pump and put in a fuel pressure gauge near the throttle body. Still having a lot of problems running lean and backfiring when RPMs get over 3000. Then the handheld seemed to fail. We have a loaner but that's where we stand today. Still and frustrated. WebOct 7, 2024 · 9. Hello All. I finally gave up and gave in with this fitech issue I am having. Setup: 5.7 V8 - Stock w/ edelbrock intake. Turbo Charged - 10 lbs. boost. Issues: after acceleration and on deceleration from cruising or WOT, AFR goes way lean (16.0 -20) and almost dies. Seems to happen more dramatically under hard braking.
WebMay 20, 2024 · I put the Pro Flo 4 4150 system on the same motor, and sold all of the FiTech stuff and 4 intake manifolds for .25 cents on the dollar and was happy to get rid of it.
