WitrynaDISCUSSION. We present a rare case of infection with S apiospermum in a patient with CGD treated with steroids. The infection only resolved after treatment by bone marrow transplantation. The ubiquitous nature of this fungus and the rarity of it as a pathogen in CGD suggest that his infection may relate uniquely to his circumstances.
