SpletWent through the same regimen for the same type of cancer. Mine was stage 2B in the nasopharyngeal area. I had no shortness of breath; however, some types of foods (especially vegetables) tasted metallic. The sensation was gone midway through the treatment ( 8 sessions). The metallic taste came back after radiotherapy.
